How do I request a reservation ?

Contact us either by phone or email. We are renting the cottage by the week or weekend.  A week stay is from Saturday through Saturday.  The cottage must be vacated by 10:00am on Saturday.

What is the cost ?

The cost of a 1 week rental varies depending upon the season, number of guests, etc.  Generally, the cost for a family of four in the summer months would run about $2500 for a week.

Does Michiana/Grand Beach have many rentals ?

There are very few rentals in Michiana/Grand Beach.  Most cottages and cabins are used by only by family and friends.  Many are passed from generation to generation, and, for the most part, the many eclectic cottages of Michiana/Grand Beach are kept in excellent condition.

How can I tell when the Cottage is available?

For your planning convenience, we have posted an Availability Calendar on this website, but this could be a few days behind.  The best way to determine availability is to call us, preferably well ahead of your intended stay.

Can I walk to the beach ?

Absolutely.  The beautiful swimming & strolling beach is a 1 minute walk from the side door of the cottage to the beach stairs at "Stop 40".  This is about 200 feet.  The "surf" of Lake Michigan can be heard from the cottage.
